October 2026, Melbourne: Elixinol Wellness Limited (ASX: EXL) (the Company) grew
combined Hemp Foods Australia branded and Australian Primary Hemp bulk sales by 12% to
$6.41 million (unaudited) in the nine months to 30 September 2026, while gross profit increased
41% (unaudited). Full supply of two major grocery programs now continues throughout 2027, with
new Hemp Gold Protein ranging adding another branded growth opportunity in Q4 2026.
A broader supply base with a longer runway
In 2025, the Company supplied one major grocery program in full and shared the other. It now
supplies both in full through trade partners, with both contracts continuing into 2027. These
recurring orders support processing scale; combined gross profit increased 41% in the nine
months to 30 September 2026. Our grocery footprint, branded reach and bulk capability position
Elixinol as the leading Australian hemp foods supplier and a key beneficiary as the category grows.
From ingredient demand to branded growth same supply chain expertise underpins Hemp Foods
Australia's consumer range. Its seeds remain ranged by Coles & Costco, while Hemp Gold Protein
is expected to return to Costco in Australia and New Zealand in October/November. Gold Protein
is also sold through Coles, health retailers and online marketplaces; Coles moved to a larger 450g
format in May.
Built on deep operating experience
The company’s hemp supply team includes staff with more than a decade of growing, sourcing
and processing experience. Their knowledge has supported consistent supply and improvements
in output and efficiency as grocery volumes have expanded. The team is also seen as a trusted
partner throughout the supply chain.
Hemp’s awareness as a Superfood is growing
Hemp seeds contain protein, vitamins, minerals and polyunsaturated fats, particularly omega-31
.
Selected Hemp Foods Australia products, including organic hulled seeds and Gold Protein, are in
their second year of FODMAP Friendly certification. With IBS affecting an estimated one in seven
Australian adults,2
the certification adds a relevant point of difference for the branded range.
Natalie Butler, CEO and Executive Director, said:
“Our scale in hemp supply provides a strong foundation for growth in 2027. The team's
experience supports consistent delivery, while Hemp Foods Australia's nutritional profile and
product-specific FODMAP certification differentiate the branded range. Gold Protein's return
to Costco builds on these strengths, creating further opportunities to capitalise on growing
demand for hemp foods.”
